@ppppp1245688 Mariah, Whitney, and Celine perfected the art of building up a song gradually, effortlessly blending restraint and power. Their power could be glass-shattering, but they always left the listener space to breathe/process. I like Jennifer but she lacks this ability.

@JosiahThobejane The slowest F30 340i is my favourite car here. I miss fast enough, comfortable, and luxurious six-cylinder BMW sedans without M badges everywhere. Give me wood trim and the restrained sleeper vibe over super aggressive M models. Maybe it’s just me.

@Mr_PeterM If I could afford to spend that much on a car, the very last thing I’d buy is a lower-spec generic crossover with a 4-cylinder engine. Neither car is attractive and both interiors are downgrades vs older models. I’m also a BMW fan, but the new X3 is very disappointing.

Drove one of my hero cars a few days ago and I’m still thinking about the experience. The E39 BMW 5 Series is a masterpiece. This one wasn’t serviced nearly as regularly as I wanted so I wasn’t brave enough to take the plunge, but man, what a car.
