@ShankedDG I look at myself. I can throw 400 feet, I’m a generally bad putter, but there are few holes in any local course I literally can’t birdie. So to think I could shoot anywhere from 5 over to even 15 under (not that I have) isn’t really crazy.
@ShankedDG It’s all tough man. The only difference between any of the levels is consistency (other than open). Almost every week in league, MA2 hot round beats MA1. But the person who did it might only shoot under par one more time all season. Unlike MA1 where the same guy can average -7
@EagleGarrett Given how few of our views align yet how easy it is to have real discussions and a good time. Can’t imagine having the issue of our conversations turning toxic given the person you are.
Even if you are wrong and dumb 😉
@aBottDG196954 Lastly, I’m mostly basing this off my knowledge of baseball mechanics as they are pretty similar. I’m sure someone knows more than me on this, but everything I said definitely would increase the amount of energy transferred into your arm to get more power. No clue on accuracy 😅
@aBottDG196954 Try to use your front shoulder as your tool for aiming. Hold your shoulder aiming in the direction you want to throw until your foot plant happens. Then start your rotating from hips first then shoulders, then arm. Obviously it needs to be smooth but yeah.
@JBplaysDG I throw teebird3s in different plastic for this purpose. My flat champion metal flake (someone beat in) sounds exactly like what you want. Otherwise I got a halo Beast that I found to be the exact same stability except in a 10 speed slot. Compliment each other perfectly.
@aBottDG196954 Then your arm should finish throwing while your shoulders are stationary, then after release your shoulders finish rotating until you are facing forward. I hope I explained that well. Hard to type out lol. If you watch any top down on pros, they all do this for distance.
@aBottDG196954 To clarify further. There are basically 2 (3 I guess) rotations that should happen in your throw. You rotate shoulders back as the disc goes back, then once you plant your front foot, shoulders should rotate till roughly parallel to where you are throwing…
@ShadelessDen For career I would just put together a complete written plan as if I was changing/quitting. The put that life up to my current one, and ask, do I think I’d be happier? Do I think this other career goal is attainable, what would I do if I fail my goal, etc.
@Brodiesmith21 Two parter, when will we (if ever) change disc classification. (Putter, mid, fairway, driver). Then what different classifications do you think should exist. For example: Putter, approach, mid, control driver, distance driver. But even that doesn’t describe discs well enough imo
