And now, a seeming ease to punch down on minority groups instead of asking the rich to take responsibility for their greed.
Disabled People have always made up around a quarter of the population. The difference is that now they're poorer, and need disability benefits more.
Paying out the £23bn in unclaimed benefits and lifting the two-child benefit cap would lift millions out of poverty and create economic growth.

There's this entire myth that loads of people are faking/exaggerating sickness for some social/financial benefit, but the reality is that most people are actually pretending to be LESS sick than they are because that's what society demands.
Before you demonise disabled people for receiving "free money", take a moment to remind yourself that you pay your able bodied MP's rent, bills, travel costs, parking costs...without complaint every year.
Let that sink in and then point your anger in the right direction!

Every time you hear them talking on TV about 'the disabled', I try to remember that at some point in our lives, we all become disabled, even if it's for only that one second before we die. Disabled is us.
