How to make the most of Drum Trigs in Fugue Machine Rubato (macOS, iOS) - @Alexandernaut helped us develop this tutorial to help you grasp just one of many features in Rubato (now AUv3 too). Step by step:

- fixed an issue on Mac where, after presenting the Ableton Link popover, the application may have stopped accepting clicks until the window was removed from focus.
@odbol To automate note parameters, select a single note, then in the Note Parameters View (the view to the right of the Note Grid), tap the titles of the x/w/y/v parameters to show their automation tracks.

Still figuring out all the controls of Fugue Machine Rubato, Alexandernaut’s new and improved take on the original Fugue Machine, using multiple ‘elastic’ playheads to do some very organic and unusual sequencing. So here sticking to one of the many good factory presets.
The ‘elastic’ bit means what? See in the video, for example, how some playheads are doing repeat triggerings of certain notes. I have never seen a sequencer do this before. Very promising, very different.
No idea yet whether I will do a full walkthrough on it on my YouTube channel, seems like it would take a fair bit of time to get properly familiar with this, so let’s see, but I’m definitely intrigued.
Has certainly been a discussion-provoking release, that’s for sure. Single cross-platform purchase runs on iPad and iPhone standalone and as an AUv3, and on Mac. It’s currently only standalone on Mac, but apparently Mac AUv3 functionality will be added soon.
If using desktop, check compatibility of midi AUv3s with your DAW, this is not an area I know much about, I think from what I have heard that will work with Logic Pro, for example, but not with Ableton. You could of course always pipe midi from the standalone into Ableton.
In this video I am using it on an iPad inside the host app AUM by Kymatica @j_liljedahl, sending the midi to @VirSyn Tera Pro
