And mine is still in peak performance, but using magic as a crutch comes with a price.
[He smoomches Dylan's forehead like some sort of dad.]
All magic comes with a price.
And, looks like ye could use something to eat then. After all, been a few hours since then.
I can just warm it up for ya.....my magic has gotten better.
(Shrugging slightly he thought about it. Food? When was the last time he ate)
I ate something before I saw you.
(Lying already? Tsk tsk. He just doesn’t wanna worry the others with his problems or needs.)
I really don't mind, other than the fact my drinks cold.
[He flashes a grin.]
But I could just carry ye over if I needed to heat it up.
It's not hard.
Have ye been eating properly?
Well....I.....ugh....
(He thought about it before going silent. The boy wasn’t about to argue cause it was true. Dylan placed his head back down.)
I can get up if you want me too. Otherwise I just might lay here all day. You’re comfy you know.
[Bairn laughs; the sound is quiet, but warm and hearty.]
Naw, lambs don't cling, so at least ye can't compare.
Ye did seem happy to be held, so.
I wasn't gonna say no.
Ah sounds boring.....I’m not ready for the cold.....
(He blinked a bit, and that made him blush. The boy huffed out a bit.)
I-I don cling.....I’m not some helpless newborn lamb clinging to its ma.
Ah, same old.
Rains in the forecast, snow will be soon, Christmas decorations are out a month early...
Ye were clinging to me for dear life, I wasn't gonna put ye down.
Still.....you could of dragged me to the couch or even left me there.
(He smiled a bit, looking to the newspaper.)
Anything good in there?? Or is it all shite Iike usual?
Well, I've gotten through the sports pages, comics, obituaries, local stories, and job offerings...
So, we can say it's been a while.
[His tea is cold, but he's still sipping it here and there.]
Ye needed it.
That sounds useful.....I’ll have to look into them.
(He thought about it before looking to him.)
How long have I been in your lap.....? I’m sure it’s bugging you by now.
They come in gummy snacks too.
[He sips his tea over Dylan's shoulder, craving his neck to peek at the newspaper on the table in front of him.]
It's a chemical that induces sleep. Slows you down so sleeping is easier.
Very useful.
I use them when I'm particularly stressed.
(He nodded while snuggling again. Seems like Dylan was in a cuddling mood. These were rare moments with the usually aloof boy.)
Helped a lot.....thanks.
(He closed his eyes again, yawning out. Dylan hummed softly, taking a few moments to wake up fully. He was mostly silent, yawning every once in a while. The boy was always calm when first waking up.)
Sleepy good.......
(At least it was comprehensible this time.)
...Bairn..
(Dylan started to wake up. The boy hummed out while opening his eyes, blinking slowly. Looking around his eyes moved to Bairn. Silently he snuggled, half asleep still. The boy mumbled something in full welsh.)
@APHYuusha64 + sure what that word means, but he IS faintly aware of the fact the Japanese tended to take their shoes off upon entry... normally he would too.
But what else was he looking for?
"Ah- my apologies.. 'm not sure what a ... genkan is. Is there +
[Bairn, wuv Dylan. And also, he's used to the younger boys freaking out! Plus, obviously he wouldn't carry around Dylan like he belongs in a baby bjorn if he wasn't ready for some embarrassed anger from the boy later.
For now he just uvu holds him close, and sips some tea.]
(Dylan just gonna snuggle them. He hasn’t been held like this in a while. It’s good for his sleeping. When he wakes up though, get ready for a small freak out.)
(Dylan is in deep sleep. The boy curled up to him out of habit around something warm. He’s gonna be passed out for a while to recharge. Poor lad looked so pale with dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep.)
Mm. Okay.
[Places his hands under Dylan's chin. Pets his cheeks.... pinches in one (1) spot, and instantly knocks Dylan out. The human reset button, very useful.]
[Bairn catches him before he hits the ground though, so that's good.]
Problem solved.
