Add Proverbs to your current reading. It will help you understand that this is not a modern problem. And hopefully, it will give you some peace in your future dealings.

I honestly don't know how to help guide you beyond that. Being fully transparent in a rebuke is, imo, the best method. The importance is handling it with grace. Each situation is just so different from the next, so it's hard to even advise on that.

It's always tough handling the hard conversations because we want to avoid conflict if at all possible. Sometimes it's not, though, so be prepared to flip a table or two. It could also just be that you are not the person God needs to handle a particular person or situation. Learn to walk away with grace and continue to pray for the person, even if they block you.

Humans are flawed creatures. We are selfish and don't want to admit when we are in the wrong. I honestly do think you should read through Proverbs over the next month. There are 31 chapters and 31 days in December.

Solomon talks a LOT about dealing with people who refuse to be corrected and how you should just walk away if they refuse to listen or to be disciplined. It's worth a read, brother.

That is the plight of Christians since the earliest days of the church. Paul went through it too, and Solomon spoke on this very thing so many times in Proverbs, that I would honestly recommend a read through that book just for encouragement.

Honestly, I think your approach to me that one night was a net positive for me. It helped me make a decision regarding a certain artwork that I had been mulling about whether or not I should delete it from here.

Don't waste your time on fools. Wise men will take your rebuke with grace and become wiser. Fools will take your rebuke and just become bitter. Let them. Pray for them and move on, friend.

But to answer the question of anger God or anger humans, always choose to anger humans. God is just and will weigh all your shortcomings and accomplishments on his scales. Do what you can to follow in his ways.
