At No. 159, the Vikings selected Michigan FB Max Bredeson. (Listed as a TE but Vikings reported him as a FB.)
Can't say they didn't need one after C.J. Ham's retirement.
They're scheduled to pick again at No. 163.
“People wanted to be Randy Moss,” @TheLastFullback said. “I wanted to be Lorenzo Neal.”
You KNEW he was dog. Read more about @TheLastFullback and the revival of the fullback position in this @MattPress23 piece!
Ahead of the NFL Draft, I wrote about fullbacks.
“Tough as nails, reliable and always ready. Like a good car — just always starts.”

Navy's Eli Heidenreich is one of the most fascinating prospects in this class, because his toolkit is soooo unique. Sweep runner, zone big-play guy in the backfield, insert blocker, and can create explosives as an outside receiver. McVay/Shanahan/Kubiak would have field days.
Old news now, but Klint Kubiak has his fullback. Heyward will wear #34 and, for the first time in his career, is listed solely at FB.
