Last Friday, our Year 10 boys’ football team played in the County Cup Final. Staff and families showed great support, making it a fantastic occasion. An amazing experience for the team, playing at the Leicester City training ground! #FantasticFullhurst
As part of the #FuturePlus programme, Year 10 students took part in a first aid session led by Heartwise. They learned lifesaving skills including CPR, the recovery position, and how a defibrillator works, gaining practical experience and confidence to respond in emergencies.
Fullhurst welcomed 11 volunteers from sectors including HR, construction, creative arts, and further and higher education where our Year 9 students spoke directly with professionals, heard real-life career journeys and gained advice as they begin thinking about their next steps.
Following the workshops, Year 9 attended an assembly on street safety and danger awareness, the legal side of self-defence, and the serious risks that blades pose to young people and the wider community. #FullhurstPledge

This week is Attendance Week. Students will take part in tutor-time sessions and activities designed to explore the importance of attendance, break down barriers to learning, and encourage positive discussions about how being in school supports success and wellbeing.
