Whenever I accompany my wife to make any major purchase the salesman always talks to my wife first. I can see how easy it is for single moms. My life as a guy is so tough.

@byalexlima @KatieMiller The cost of child care is essentially work prohibitive for all but the most well compensated. Government provided child care would remove one of the largest disincentives to family creation.

With women at home raising all the kids, the demand for the remaining men in the workforce would drive their wages way up. Think how important all the men would feel and important feeling men are happy.
