I agree that the typos are indicative of sloppy work, but the corrected sentences often seem to be vacuous also. It's not just spelling or grammar that's the problem - it's catchphrase soup shot through with woolly thinking.

I suspect the "soup" aspect is a by-product of cut/paste harvesting from other works. The second sentence pictured probably came almost straight out the MIND publication, possibly with "The emphasis on" decoratively but meaninglessly tacked on the front.

Since you've innocently misunderstood the point, let me spell out the obvious even more clearly.

Let's take as an example a woman with MRKH syndrome, who was born with a congenital abnormality: an absent or undeveloped uterus. Notwithstanding that anomaly, she has a reproductive system organised around producing eggs instead of sperm, so she is unambiguously female. No male can have MRKH syndrome; one might even say that MRKH syndrome represents conclusive proof that the individual born with it is female.

I myself was born with a congenital abnormality: a bleeding disorder. I don't consider myself less human because of it, but my blood is demonstrably defective. That still doesn't make me a brand new type of human being, nor does it mean an inability to clot should be considered a standard trait of all human beings.

It's my good fortune that there's no anti-science ideological movement currently trying to hijack bleeding disorders for its own ends. Should that ever happen, though, I can promise you I'll fight to the bitter end not to have my medical history reduced to a glib and ignorant talking point, as gender identity ideologues insist on doing to men and women with DSDs.

PCBarnes123 uses "lead" here (more often spelt "lede" in journalistic contexts, to distinguish it from typesetting lead = pb/plumbum) to mean the main point of a news article. Specifically in this case, that labour gains more than reform if conservatives are not an option.
Which is probably bollocks already, but it will be even more so after burnham has had a couple of years to completely trash the uk economy, when run by suicidal one-term-only mp's who don't expect to win another election.

The conversion of electricity to hydrogen has an efficiency of 70-75%, the conversion of hydrogen back to electricity has an efficiency of 50-55%.

I watched the Pan Am 103 Netflix series. It's good enough by television standards. What jumps out is how carefully the BBC co-produced show avoids the words "Islamic terrorism" — everything gets framed as the work of political groups or governments.

Sorry, @JeninYounesEsq, the show didn't invent an association between Palestinian factions and terrorism. The PFLP-GC — a Palestinian group led by Ahmed Jibril — was the prime suspect in this very bombing, investigated by the FBI, Scotland Yard, and West German police starting in 1988. That's the historical record, not a Netflix script. They did that work themselves, long before Netflix existed.
