@sarahb_paw Ableton pretty much forces you to manual gain your tracks before using a compressor and if you do it wrong… “you will know” this is why some people hate Ableton for recording but I think it simply a learning curve

As a musician I can’t afford to waste a lot of time tinkering and setting up my instruments a lot and want to do my best to keep things consistent (I don’t even update my plugins or DAWS either) I rather spend $2000 on something that I know works and won’t go out of tune during a set then a partscaster that be at risk of my output jack going out because I didn’t do a good enough soldering job. I know what $2000 gets me and I know the value of an instrument so I wouldn’t worry too much on the deal I’m getting more of “can it stay in tune and can it play.” I never buy for the name I buy if it worthy to be on stage.
