As Mayor, I'm proud that our city remains Orlando United. During Pride Month and year round, we'll continue to share that our community is and will continue to be a place that values and respects LGBTQ+ residents and visitors.
They just posted 13 TS billboards all with the 13 cloud emoji caption…surely we don’t make it to the end of today without SOME type of announcement right? Because I’m going insane
Unpopular opinion:
I know it’s exciting to see new cards.
At the same time, it is also heartbreaking to see my girl’s set completely leaked.
To watch the team/content creators be robbed of all the hard work that went into prepping the launch/card reveals.

Imagine a family seeing this in 2027.
The grandmother sees the world she knew in the 60s. The parents look back on their own childhood in the 80s. A young adult remembers being a kid around Y2K. Then they can all see an optimistic vision of where we’re headed.
Beautiful.
@dsnymike it was a time capsule for you, but that was not the original intent of the ride. It’s normal to be sad it’s changing. It’s also okay to feel uneasy about changes! From what I have heard, I think they’re going to nail this one. And if they don’t, please drag me for being a fool.
@ScottGustin This is incredible! I didn’t think we’d get a complete overhaul with new decades represented, but I’m so glad that we are! It’ll be amazing to see this classic attraction created for the modern day!
NEW: Carousel of Progress will close at the end of the day on July 5 for a major update featuring new scenes inspired by the 60s, 80s, 2000 and a distant future. But the iconic song, the story of progress, Rover and the family are all staying.

Overall though, a fantastic update that made me actually want to reride the attraction! Thank you @DisneyParks for investing in this needed upgrade and thank you to all the teams who brought it to life!
The new missions on Smugglers Run make the ride so much better than before! Got to do it twice so far, once as Pilot and once as Engineer. Pilot feels much easier in a good way that led to less preventable crashes. Engineer getting to select the second planet was also very cool!
Main note I have though is that I didn’t really understand how the Grogu button worked in the Engineer position and it didn’t seem like I was really doing anything by pressing it. I also wish it gave Pilot a couple more buttons to press occasionally since the steering is easier.
@BradenMTG Not to mention that the main reason people seem to want Tramp banned is because you can sing Under The Sea so early. But if that is the issue, why don’t we just ban Under The Sea then? This whole ban discourse is ridiculous.
@NickChaps96 The space is unfortunately just too small to put anything new in besides another small theatre-in-the-round show. I have a feeling the eventual fate of this space will be to expand Cosmic Ray’s Kitchen and Seating Area.
