We did it! Ran the 13.1 miles and loved nearly every minute (bit sore after 12 miles!)
Thanks to everyone who sponsored me and to Emily and her team at @asthmauk for their support!

Tomorrow is the Royal Parks Half marathon. I feel excited and nervous in equal measures. The weather forecast is pretty grim - which is a shame for the spectators and organisers.

Had a great start to #NationalFitnessDay with a 6.30 am run with 4 mum friends. Enjoying company definitely helps with the half marathon training! #thisgirlcanrun

There's still plenty of time in the day to get out and get active - what are you waiting for?!

This is Geoff Oliver. Heβs 85. Heβs been going round and round this track for almost 24 hours and has covered more than 70 miles - a world record. #tooting24
With the #RoyalParksHalf only 3 weeks away, I did a training run around the course location this morning - in the rain! I really enjoyed the run. Hyde Park is gorgeous - even in pouring rain. Iβm just a little miffed my Nike Run app cut out the last 2km of my runπ«.
I am running the Royal Parks Half to raise money for #AsthmaUK. Asthma UK fund research to help find a cure for asthma as well as providing support and information for asthma sufferers and their families. Asthma UK were a very useful resource for us when our son was diagnosed.
Being a Scot, I β€οΈa ceilidh! They are great way for all age groups to mix and have fun. You donβt have to know the steps as a βcallerβ will guide you. And doing it wrong is all part of the fun!
The @streatfest are looking for volunteers to help out.
