Great night. Even though there were only like 50 ppl, they rocked that shit RA the Rugged man was awesome. He didn't hold any punches. From talking about the low turnout, to clowning on a rancid smelling MOFO that got up on stage. Dude was next to me and he definitely stunk
We then all started playing on our own computers. It was the shit. Super losery,we were just playing video games all day, but it was the shit.
Through out that whole time i was playing those Gordy albums. It my anthem to that time in my life.
These albums have turned into a feeling for me. It takes me to an odd but cool period of my life.
I remember hearing him on PDM tracks and then searching for his solo work and i binged on these for a good amount of months.
He got curious and i told him to go ahead and give it a try. He got hooked. He stayed up till 5 am playing. After that we would just take turns playing every day till ridiculous hours of the morning. Then his cousin started to join us. I turned them into PC gamers.
Gonna go down memory lane. The Wraith was the first joker card i was a witness to the anticipation. I got into ICP right after Jeckel Brothers and right before Bizaar Bizzar
I got home, locked myself in my room, put it on my stereo and it was an hour of just magice, hanging on the word of every track. I loved it. I then went online to hear other ppls experience and i just saw all this hate about how they sold out and that the album fucking sucked.
