They are much worse at understanding who has actually participated meaningfully.

Most protocols can see addresses, balances and transactions. What they often lack is context: whether an address represents sustained behavior, temporary activity, or a pattern that carries useful information.

That creates an interesting infrastructure problem.

Instead of asking wallets to reveal traditional identity, @zerufinance is exploring a different layer through ZeruAI: behavioral reputation built from onchain history.

zScore sits inside that approach, evaluating wallets through historical activity and onchain behavior. Zaps adds a user-facing component where wallets can connect, develop behavioral profiles/reputation and participate in relevant activities and campaigns.

The important distinction is that reputation doesn't have to mean attaching a real-world name to an address.

Crypto already produces a public trail of actions. The harder problem is turning that trail into signals that applications can actually interpret.

Done carefully, behavioral signals can provide another dimension for areas such as incentive mechanisms, reputation systems and capital allocation.

But they also introduce a design challenge: more activity isn't automatically better behavior.

A useful reputation layer needs to capture context rather than simply rewarding whoever generates the most transactions.

That makes ZeruAI's direction more interesting to examine as infrastructure rather than just another scoring product.
