A lot of work behind this one!
Huge thanks to Coline Portet, Flora Thellier and all our collaborators.

[FunSy @FunSyCNRS]

Really happy to finally share this one 🎉
Our new preprint is now on bioRxiv:

A short thread on the story behind it

More broadly, our findings extend the role of the claustrum beyond cortical-state regulation.
It may provide a route through which distributed cortical dynamics are coordinated with hippocampal output during sleep, with consequences for memory consolidation.

Job opportunity🥼
I'm looking for an engineer or junior researcher to work on a project analysing the links between adverse childhood experiences and pain. Previous experience in cellular imaging or electrophysiology +++ contact me if interested.

@LabLuthi uncovers a dual role of #locus @coeruleus in #sleep -> 1) its strict gatekeeper role for the sleep cycle 2) the partial brain-body arousals it generates. Powerful minds behind all this: @alejandrosoriof @GFoustoukos @CardisRomain

🎡🐁 New preprint from the team in @biorxiv_neursci !
Using a mouse model of AD, @GLM_Bouisset made a great contribution in the understanding of neural substrate for cognitive reserve 🧠🧐

[FunSy @FunSyCNRS]

Our latest is out in @TrendsNeuro ! 🧠💡 With @alyy_dodo, @Coline_Portet, and @_jesse_jackson, we propose that Claustrum activity could influence cognition by structuring the timing of cortical down states. Check it out: https://t.co/RJUa7lYQEx"

Fantastic work by an amazing student. Thanks @aguilera_matth for your outstanding work! If you're looking for a talented postdoc candidate, keep an eye out—he’ll be on the market soon…

[FunSy @FunSyCNRS]

Congrats to the @CharletLab team!

What an outstanding work! 🎉

[FunSy @FunSyCNRS]

Go and talk with Coline!

[FunSy @FunSyCNRS]

Our stellar student, @Coline_Portet , will present at #sfn2024 ! Interested in the claustrum’s role in sleep-dependent memory consolidation? Catch her Wednesday (PSTR424.09/U14). This work is a great collaboration with @SychYaroslav and @_jesse_jackson

And that’s a wrap! We had a fantastic time at the Summer School on Advanced Tools for Data Analyses in Neuroscience.
Amazing students, great "teachers", and a week full of learning and fun!
A big thanks to the University of Strasbourg and FENS/IBRO-PERC for their support.
