@kommandoman@kunley_drukpa You're correct although native american used colloquially usually refers to North american (excluding Mexico) natives, not Mexican/Central American Indios who would be called Latinos/hispanics
@Ionsphr@favelaoverlord Yeah the skill cap is so much higher than human capability. It took a bit to make the CPUs actually good though, they used to just spam tech skill but were shit at actually playing lol
@14Biscuits@favelaoverlord Youre definitely right that tech was unintentional and the development window was rushed. But I guess my point more so was how it's dissapointing and restrictive that they were removed in later games.
@14Biscuits@favelaoverlord Disagree, none of the core tech in melee are bugs. Theyre optimized use cases of the games physics. Later Smash games adopted buffers, lockout windows and what not to prevent these techs. There may be some bugs but pretty much all useful core techs are not
@FinalStraw115 @interstatejuche Dude it's grim to be young here. Even amongst white people in their 20s maybe half hate America too, but you can at least talk to them about problems. Boomers genuinely froth at the mouth over Trump, and somehow believe our economy is fine
@FinalStraw115 @interstatejuche Boomer resentment basically. Pretty much everyone over ~50 years old here deeply deeply hates America. "At least we're saner than those crazies down south" can be used to justify any retarded policy to them
@TakeThiamine Does he work for a pharma company? He consistently downplays any concerns with pharmaceuticals to an extent that I can't rationalize unless he's making his dime from them. Like, he can't really believe there's no side effects from SSRIs, right?
@captive_dreamer My (C*nadian) family who never watch hockey asked me why I'm not getting up at 5 to watch and said this game was important because "It's political"
