The Chambers J/Z station is one of the oldest stations in New York City's transit system — and it doesn't look like it's been touched by the MTA since it was built.
But thanks to congestion pricing, it's getting a huge upgrade, reports @DaveCoIon.
Congestion pricing will fund over $100 million in renovations to the Chambers Street J/Z station, possibly the most-notorious example of the decades of disinvestment in the city’s transit system. https://t.co/sgXEuJB4wk
Congestion pricing is a win-win: less traffic for drivers, better transit for riders, and safer streets + cleaner air for all.
