In the midst of dancing & dressing like my miracle for this Hallelujah Challenge 19th Oct, i saw a congratulatory mail, sent late last night from a program i had given up on!
Past Nath declared it and i received it!
This God is too good! 😫🙌🏾

There is a housing complex in this Bamenda; 3 buildings about 30 apartments.
The landlord doesn't collect rent for the month of September. He tells his tenants to concentrate on their kid's back to school needs.
This has been going on for years.
Such kindness is truly rare 🙏🏾
This is why I don't only teach my kids 'stranger danger', i teach them body autonomy even with close family members.
I teach them 'good' and 'bad' touch that applies to everyone. It's sad we have to teach these to kids who sometimes don't even understand but it is what it is
2yrs ago the separatist fighters killed my elder brother and dumped him at a roundabout in Bamenda.
On monday they did the exact same thing to my kid brother, Left him there like trash.
All this after they killed my dad.
I am broken, I am capable of murd*r now.
Patriarchy is so deeply rooted that a woman sacrificing her body to give birth is treated as normal, while a man washing a few dishes is treated like a hero.
@MONJ21 Remembering our context here is women's health and childbirth, you can't tell a woman to 'have children in her 20's and get it over with ' as medical advice. Don't deviate the context of this discussion to generalities about health because that wasn't the center of our discuss
You see this talk say 'bele no know formula', it is very heavy.
When pregnancy complications want to happen, all those things that put you at 'low risk' become blur. Miraculous go turn to tragedy.
Pregnancy is a high risk decision all round. Anything can happen at any time.
Pregnancy is miraculous. It simply is.
Women are divine purely off of this capacity.
It's the singular reason I say there's no context in which a man being physically violent to a woman is acceptable.
Their bodies are uniquely precious in a way that men's aren't.
We humans have been blessed enough to be able to have a good grasp on this process of pregnancy & childbirth that we essentially have it under control today.
Maternal mortality has decreased significantly, & that's because of how we apply what we know about it in the care of our pregnant and childbearing mothers.
Please heed the advice without bias. It's the least prejudicial field you could find, so embrace it and let it guide you.
There's nothing that brings more collective joy than mother & child good health after a pregnancy. It's all for our own good.
@MONJ21 '...is in direct relation to the life & death context of childbirth & early newborn care'...Dr Njimi, WHAT ABOUT THE MOTHER?!
Mind you,all these came up because you are trying to sell to women that mom brain is such a good thing for the baby,i ask again, what about the mother?!
@MONJ21 These issues can happen to ANY woman at ANY age but you are really trying to paint having kids in your 20's as a breeze.
Can you have higher risk with older age, yes!
Can you have ALL these risks irrespective of your age, ABSOLUTELY YES!
I rest my case.
@MONJ21 Excuse you,i emphasized on MEDICAL MISOGYNY, and its an absolutely real thing.
I also see how you also avoided mentioning all the bad medical conditions that can come with 'motherhood' and listed only the 'good things '.
As if women don't literally die in trying to bear children
So yall believe i dropped school 😂😂 until ur posting it after i block you.
This is polytechnic bambui.
And that’s my project behind me.
When u don finish mock me u go unblock yourself.
@MONJ21 Your Medical misogyny is showing again.
How does reduced brain function be advantageous to someone who is supposed to be fully in charge of a newborn?
You have used my example, and reduced the whole mom brain experience to just that example.
@MONJ21 "Mom brain is for greater good" , of who?!!!
The mom who cannot remember her own phone number or ATM number?!
I be don fess talk say i no get power today🫤
