"Ending INVAM for scientists is like closing the Louvre for artists.” @FungiInvam is the world's largest library of living spores, housed here at @UnivOfKansas. It's a vital resource for degraded ecosystems and better ag systems. https://t.co/W8EpbCSQAo
@FungiInvam@MycoBloom prairies, AMF inoculants are all covered in this neat feature:

Rob Ramos and @CamilleDelavaux visited us to sequence some of the collection. INVAM curators Jim Bever, Terra Lubin, Peggy Schultz and @lizkoziol spent hundreds of hours isolating #AMF spores, and Rob & Camille worked really hard to make sure this project was a success!
The INVAM team had the pleasure of hosting @djanegrao and @endylkailer from @KState last month to train on #AMF spore ID, chat about collaborations, and discuss their research project!
The whole @FungiInvam team will be headed to #icom12! @lizkoziol Peggy Schultz, Jim Bever, & Terra Lubin. Come talk to us about your research ideas, culture or service needs, potential collaborations or visiting INVAM @KUEcoResearch. We are nice.
Bill visited @KUEcoResearch this week to share final tips after transferring the collection to @ResearchAtKU in 2021 to curators Jim Bever, Peggy Schultz, Terra Lubin and @lizkoziol . INVAM is in good hands! We will miss you! THANK YOU!
Bill Wheeler, curator of INVAM @WestVirginiaU, will retire in June after 30+ years of service with @FungiInvam. He led daily operations of #AMF cultivation & distribution under Joe Morton. Its impossible to fully express our gratitude for their contributions to #AMF research. 1/2
The 5,000 INVAM citations in the #AMF literature wouldn't exist without Bill's efforts. This doesn't even cover his huge outreach impact, including work with AMF-curious individuals from high school students to land managers, as well as global AMF collections and industry.
INVAM is harvesting cycle 3 of #AMF cultures since moving to @KUEcoResearch! In the past year, our website, https://t.co/GZvDJkO37j, has had more than 20,000 views and we have had 1,200 visitors to our online store, https://t.co/knBkFoTQf4. Thank you all for your support!
The curators of INVAM discuss #amf, field applications of AM fungi, and the @FungiInvam process at @KUEcoResearch. The presenters:
1) Jim Bever
2) @lizkoziol
and 3) Terra Lubin

Unveiling agricultural insights by Joseph E. Carrara et al.! 🌱 @FungiInvam cultures show promise in boosting nutrient uptake in black beans, with Claroideoglomus claroideum, Funneliformis mosseae, and Gigaspora rosea standing out. https://t.co/w9yfRDojYw
Excitingly, INVAM houses ~100 AMF species awaiting exploration for their potential benefits in agriculture and beyond. Check it out!
