I give you The Forest Confrontation
Harry Potter stood at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Further in was Voldemort, waiting for him. Waiting to kill him. The air was stagnant. The night sky was hidden behind a dark sheet of clouds, and even the forest critters were quiet. It was as if the whole world was holding its breath. Harry took a deep breath and took a step forward.
“And where do you think you're going, Potter?”
Harry Potter turned to see where the voice was coming from. At the entrance of the Forbidden Forest stood Draceana Malfoid. Her arms were crossed over her chest, and her beautiful golden hair was disheveled and dirty from running there in the dark. And her eyes—those great silver eyes—were staring daggers at him.
“Why do you care, Malfoid?” Harry said, turning back toward the forest. “I’m here to finish this. Voldemort needs to be taken down.”
“And you think you can take him down on your own? You're more of a fool than I thought, Potter.”
“And what are you doing here, huh? Come to grovel at your master's feet? Is betraying all your friends worth all this destruction? All this death?”
Harry turned and began to walk further into the forest, not wanting to linger with her anymore. The feelings that were welling up inside him were far too great for him to handle, and any more of this would make them burst.
“Why did you save me?” she asked, her voice tinged with the faintest bit of pain, like an old scar that still tingles long after it’s been healed.
“Huh?” Harry asked, turning around.
“In the Room of Requirement, you could have left me to die in that fire, but you didn't. Why did you come back and save me? Don’t you hate me?” As Draceana spoke, she started to cry. “Isn’t that why you used that accursed spell on me in the bathroom that day? And after all that time, I thought we were becoming friends?” she said between tears. “You're horrible, Potter! Playing with a girl's feelings! Being nice to her one minute and then turning around and leaving her bloody on the bathroom floor! And then you have the gall to save her like nothing happened! Like doing that would make everything all right. Well, screw you, Potter!” she spat.
Then she turned around and started to leave, leaving Harry at a loss for words.

Draceana Malfoid was angry.
She was angry at Voldemort for attacking Hogwarts. She was angry at her parents for forcing her to become a Death Eater. She was angry at Dumbledore for dying and leaving them to fend for themselves.
But most of all, she was angry at herself.
“Malfoid.”
Tears streamed down her face as memories flooded into her mind. She remembered her first meeting with Potter in Diagon Alley. She remembered teasing him during the first years of Hogwarts. She remembered the Yule Ball, where she danced the night away with him. She remembered getting closer to him as she helped him study for a test in Professor Snape’s Potions class. And she remembered the pain she felt when he cast that spell at her and the hate he had in his eyes.
“MALFOID!”
She was angry for falling in love with someone who didn’t love her. She was angry for being manipulated by her parents into becoming a Death Eater. And she was angry at herself for coming here and breaking down in front of Potter. She thought she could stand seeing him with another girl, but when he saved her from that fire, she knew she would never get over him.
But perhaps this was for the best. After all, who would love a Malfo—
“DRACEANA!”
Draceana turned, unsure of what she had just heard. Did Harry Potter just call her Draceana? In all the years she’d known him, he had never called her by her first name.
“Draceana,” Harry Potter repeated. He had returned to the entrance of the forest, and she could faintly make out his face. He looked so... tired.
“Draceana,” he said for a third time. “There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think back to that bathroom with regret. I never wanted to hurt you.”
“Then why!” Draceana cried.
“BECAUSE I WAS ANGRY!” Potter yelled. “And I was in a bad place. And I thought you had become a Death Eater. When I found you in the bathroom, I was planning on confronting you. To demand an explanation. But then you started casting that curse.”
“That wasn’t me! I wasn’t in control of myself,” Draceana said, tears staining her face.
“I know, Draceana. I know. And when I cast Sectumsempra, I immediately regretted it. I didn’t know what it did, and when I saw you bleeding, all that anger went away. Who do you think was the one who carried you to the infirmary? Who do you think was the one who got Professor Snape to heal you? I know what I did to you was unforgivable, and I would never forgive myself if someone I cared about died because of me.”
The last thing he said hit her like a ton of bricks. Time seemed to stop for a moment.
Potter cares about me? she thought. Since when?
Thoughts were racing through her head, but she needed more information.
“What do you mean you care about me, Potter? You seemed just fine with that Weasley girl.”
“I was in a dark place after our fight, and I think she took advantage of that. But there was never a day that I didn’t think about you. I wanted to talk to you, to make things right, but the shame held me back, and when I gained the confidence... it was far too late. I do care for you, Draceana. A lot. And when this is over, I want to talk things out with you and—”
“You talk too much, Potter,” Draceana said as she walked up to him, grabbed his shirt, and pulled him into a deep kiss.
For a minute, nothing mattered. The war, Voldemort, the Death Eaters. Even the makeup that was undoubtedly messed up from her tears didn’t matter. All that mattered to her was this moment.
Her eyes locked with his deep green eyes as they shared their kiss. But she had to let the moment pass. Slowly, painfully, she backed away from Harry.
“I-I-I...” Harry stuttered.
“Shhhhhh, dummy,” Draceana said with a smile. “Let the moment pass.”
“I’ll come back,” Harry said after a while. “I’ll do what I need to do against Voldemort, and I’ll come back to you. And then...” He said, smiling for the first time in what seemed like forever.
She missed that smile.
“And then we can talk about this... about us.”
Draceana smiled and put a finger on Harry’s lips.
“Oh, Harry, don’t you know you shouldn’t make a girl a promise you know you can’t keep?”
Then she grabbed him by the shirt again and pulled him in close.
“But you had better keep this one. Because if you die, I’ll find you in hell, and I’ll hex you for all eternity.”
Harry pulled her into one last kiss before saying,
“I’ll hold you to that, Draceana.”
Then Harry released her, and she let go of him. He gave her one last smile before turning back toward the forest and disappearing among the trees.
Draceana stood there for a few moments before turning back toward Hogwarts. As she walked, it was as if the world took a deep breath. The wind blew, the critters chirped, and the moon peeked through the clouds.
“Potter,” Draceana said with a smile. “I’m starting to like that name. I think I’m going to keep it.”

New chapter in my #malfoid fanfic. This ones happens much later in the over arching story. I made this one while I think of more Harry X Draceana stories (Also I've put everything on wattpad (link at the bottom)
The Sorting Ceremony
was September first, and the Great Hall was a bustle of noise. Fifteen years had passed since the war with the Death Eaters, but even then, it had not stopped the school from opening its doors to new witches and wizards every year. Children from all over England were packed shoulder to shoulder, waiting with intense anticipation for the Sorting Ceremony to begin. The lights dimmed, and the room went deathly quiet.
For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then, from the large doors on the far side of the hall, came a grand silver stag. It flew around the rafters and danced from table to table. At one moment, it seemed to linger in front of two children in particular. To the untrained eye, this would seem to be mere happenstance. After all, why would a Patronus linger on these two children? One was a girl who had platinum-blonde hair, striking green eyes, deep love for all things magical. The other was a boy who had shaggy brown hair, silver eyes, and a reputation for mischief. They were simply ordinary first years, and anyone who thought the stag looked at them differently was clearly seeing things.
And so, the stag danced around the Great Hall, and all the children were awestruck by its beauty. Eventually, the stag came to rest where the teachers would sit. It gave one last look at each and every table before exploding with light. The children shielded their eyes, and when their vision returned, a roaring gasp filled the room. The table that had been empty just a moment ago was now filled with the teachers of Hogwarts.
An older woman stood at its center and, with a clear, booming voice, declared,
“Welcome, one and all, to Hogwarts!”
There was great cheer when she said that, but with a wave of her hand, the room was once again silent.
“As I said, welcome, young wizards and witches, to your first year at Hogwarts. I am your Headmistress, Minerva McGonagall, and I am very pleased to meet you all.” She paused for a moment while she surveyed the room before continuing.
“Now, I am certain you are eager to begin the Sorting Ceremony, but I would like to inform you of a change.”
Whispers filled the room as the children wondered what could possibly have changed over the years and why they hadn’t been told beforehand.
“Now, don’t worry,” McGonagall declared, quieting the room. “We have simply changed who shall explain the Four Houses. I am sure this man is a household name. Please give a round of applause to Professor Harry Potter!”
With that name, the Great Hall erupted into a frenzy of cheers. Everyone knew who Harry Potter was. After all, he was the one who had defeated Voldemort and the Death Eaters once and for all fifteen years ago.
As they cheered, a man got up from the teachers’ table and approached the stand. His hair was brown and shaggy; his eyes were deep green, and he wore a dark gown. Around his neck, he wore two laced ribbons, one of deep scarlet and gold, and the other of deep green and silver.
“Thank you, Headmistress McGonagall,” Harry Potter said. “As she said, my name is Harry Potter. More importantly, I will be your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.”
He paused for a moment, looking down at each and every table.
“The Four Houses of Hogwarts have been a cornerstone of this school since its inception.
“First, you have your Gryffindors.”
As he said this, the flags around the room turned deep gold and scarlet, with a lion at their center.
“Gryffindor students are courageous and chivalrous. They are willing to put themselves in danger to protect others. They are our fiercest warriors and greatest protectors.”
“Then you have your Hufflepuffs.”
Again, the flags changed, now to yellow and black, with a badger at their center.
“Hufflepuffs value hard work and loyalty. They use magic to help others, even at the detriment of themselves. They are our greatest healers and leaders.”
“Next, you have your Ravenclaws.”
The flags changed again, this time to blue and bronze, with an eagle at their epicenter.
“Ravenclaw students are creative and intelligent. They use their knowledge to better our society in ways we can never imagine. They are great scholars and teachers.”
“And lastly, we have the Slytherins.”
As he said the name, a murmur broke out in the room. After all, it was the Slytherin students who had betrayed Hogwarts and sided with the Death Eaters. Who would want to be with them?
Harry raised a hand to quiet the room.
“I see some of you have your worries about the Slytherin house,” Harry said with a smile. “But worry not. For this house’s philosophy has changed over the years.”
With a flick of his wand, the flags changed to deep green and silver, with a great peacock spreading its wings in flight.
“Slytherin,” he began with a smile, his mind wandering ever so slightly as he pictured a woman with long golden hair, striking silver eyes, and a smile as warm as the sun. “Value the love of magic itself. They are ambitious, cunning, and pure. They use their love of magic to peel open the secrets of the universe so that we may better know it ourselves.”
And as he finished his speech, the Headmistress placed the Sorting Hat on the pedestal. The room buzzed with excitement.
“Wizards and witches!” Harry called. “I once again welcome you to Hogwarts, and let the Sorting Ceremony begin!”

Epilogue story to my last fanfic. #Malfoid
“I do.”
Two words. Those two magical words were all it took to fill Draceana’s heart with joy. Standing there across the altar from her was Harry Potter, her savior and the love of her life. The only one who had reached out a hand and pulled her out of the darkness. The Boy Who Lived. And the boy who loved her.
He stood before her, clad in a dark blue suit with a scarf of red and gold wrapped around him, looking as dashing as he had at the Yule Ball all those years ago.
“He’d look so much better in green and silver,” she thought. But as she looked up into those dark green eyes, she let that thought pass. Those eyes would do.
They had dealt with so much together. They’d fought. They’d danced. They had grown close, and they had almost lost it all. But in the end, at the darkest hour, they talked. And that talk changed their lives forever. It gave both of them strength when they needed it the most. And it was that strength that gave her the courage to stand up against Voldemort on that fateful morning when he proclaimed that Harry was dead.
She knew that wasn’t true. After all... he had promised her.
And together, they vanquished Voldemort once and for all.
Draceana looked around the Great Hall of Hogwarts Castle. It was only right that the place of their union was where it all began. She saw all the familiar faces. Crabbe and Goyle were there, of course. There wasn’t a thing in the world that would have prevented them from seeing her off.
But there were also Ron, Hermione, Neville, and all the other people Harry called friends. It had taken a long time and a lot of work from Harry, but they had finally accepted her, and now she could call them friends.
But as she looked around, there were two people she couldn’t find. Two people whom she wanted most of all to see this.
“But of course,” she thought with a sigh. “They have been sentenced to life in Azkaban. There’s no way they would be here.”
After Voldemort was defeated, the rest of the Death Eaters were soon arrested as well. She was no exception. But her parents had pleaded with the Ministry of Magic to exonerate her. They claimed that, for years, they had slowly mind-controlled her, forcing her to do the things she did against her will.
Lies, of course.
But she knew it was an act of love, and a final message to her that she should have a happy life. So, she knew it was fruitless, and yet she still looked.
And just as she was about to give up, she saw them.
Way in the back, with guards on either side of them.
She locked eyes with them and saw the pride written all over her parents’ faces. She looked back at Harry, whose smug grin told her all she needed to know.
He had planned this.
She wanted to smack the smug grin off his face, but she wouldn’t ruin her special day with violence.
She could feel tears welling up in her eyes.
“No!” she thought. “I will not cry on my wedding day. Especially not in front of him.”
“You may now kiss the bride.”
Before Harry could even move, Draceana was already lunging at him, wrapping her arms around his back and pulling him into a deep kiss.
For a moment, it was just them, but the roar of the cheering crowd brought them back into the present.
“You know,” she said, looking at her new husband. “Do you know what brought me to the edge of the forest that night? It was the thought of losing you.”
She looked down at the floor, tears flowing freely now.
“I could deal with you hating me, with you loving another girl. But I couldn’t stand letting you die. I had a feeling that if I didn’t get my feelings straight, if you went into the forest without knowing how I felt, I would never see you again. And I could never live with myself.”
Harry looked at her, those beautiful green eyes filled with love for her. He gave her a warm smile as he caressed her face, drying her tears.
“You did save me, Draceana,” he said suddenly. “When Tom hit me with the Killing Curse, I may as well have been dead. But it was your voice that brought me back from the brink. Thank you, Draceana, for saving me. I love you.”
“Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Mr. and Mrs. Potter!”
Draceana blushed uncontrollably. Trying to regain some semblance of control, she kissed him again, then, forcing a smirk, said,
“Guess I win, Harry. I’ve stolen your time, your attention, and now, I have stolen your name.”
But all Harry did was lean over and whisper into her ear.
“But it seems I won, for I have stolen your heart, Mrs. Potter.”
This made Draceana’s brain short-circuit, and she was at a loss for words, blushing uncontrollably at the altar.
“That damn boy,” she thought, trying to regain her composure. “When did he get so clever?”
