I just remember the first time we met was on the field. I remember when I first met you, you were a standout player and I told you to come here, I gave you advice on your game. Wish I could go back to those good times. Gonna miss you bro but you got to heaven first. RIP chagito
My biggest piece of advice I’ve received…
Go try and start that business.
Go get fit.
Go get that job.
Whatever it is, do things so you don’t regret them when you’re old and wrinkly sipping on your morning coffee.
I’ve been pushing the Lord away and this is Not what to do.
Everything we do is for HIM.
Your success.
Your money.
Your dreams.
All his
You can try to do it yourself but you will always be humbled.
Keep God in your life.
I think it’s kind of funny how when I first started my entrepreneurship journey, I really thought I was gonna figure it out within the first few months to a year.
I had it all wrong.
“Making it” takes multiple years of working with no reward.
I just gotta get after it.
It’s important to always remind yourself that you are the business. You are the thing that’s compounding each day you show up.
So it makes no logical sense to feel down when the “business” you’re working on in the outside world isn’t growing as fast as you’d like.
Whether it be your agency, course, ecom store, etc. it isn’t the real business, you are.
Each day you show up, learn more skills, gather more experiences, and grow a bigger following, is another “investment” added to your S&ME 500 portfolio.
And like investing, there are highs and lows. Days where the business (you) do well and days where it doesn’t. But by continuing to show up every single day you continue to hit higher highs and higher lows and you enter a bull run.
And one bull run can change your life forever.
I’m would be lying to myself and anyone who reads this…
I’ve failed…
I’ve failed at becoming better every single day.
I’ve failed at being that guy in my family who is looked up upon.
I started copywriting 9 months ago.
Since then, I've made $100,000+ for clients and scaled to $51,137/month myself.
My secret?
I follow the same 7 pillars of copy every time I write: 🧵
you’ll trust yourself when you keep your internal promises and fulfill your desires. when you want something, you’ll hunt it and capture it.
here you will find a level of peace that’s only accessible when you know you have your own back no matter what. there’s no hole you can’t dig out of and no fire you can’t extinguish.
this allows you the freedom to rely on intuition. you can follow the voice in your head without knowing where it’ll lead you. you’ll have the conviction to make the move that would puzzle others when your vision is set on greater heights.
this is the freedom you earn when you test yourself.
The best advice is to just start. Whatever time you have, just start and take it one day at a time.
Don’t worry about anyone else and get started.
Slowly I will build confidence in myself and have consistency.
Sooner or later, I will get there. As long as I don’t stop.
The thing I have struggled with is the simplicity of starting.
My whole life I’ve struggled with either starting something or being consistent.
A lot of this has to do with me being looking into the future and getting overwhelmed and not focusing on the now.
