I love collecting pop culture toys, cards, comics, etc. mainly vintage, and review, photograph but mostly play with them.
Here to share my collecting journey ✌
@G_I_DAVE Yes, largest in India with Canadian Spin Master as their largest customer. Partnership with Hasbro has ended long time ago, so no GI Joe branding is possible. I think they know what they have been missing out on but probably they can't do a lot with Hasbro's patented designs.
@G_I_DAVE I suspect Funskool retained all the vehicle and playset molds and tooling. The VAMP is still being chugged in many forms even today, and many others made appearances in their non-GIJoe line in the past.
@Regnarts82@calel_327@JustAnthrJerk In my native Bangla he was called Aranyadeb, meaning Lord of the Jungle. Though the publisher has switched to the Phantom in Bangla recently.
The chrome-faced villain Destro in "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" helped deliver exposition in a way that would keep young viewers engaged.
