IF SOMETHING CAN BE EXPLAINED BY A CONVOLUTED CONSPIRACY THEORY—OR SIMPLE MATH—THEN MATH ALWAYS WINS.
LA Registered Voters
Approximate number of Dems: 1,224,737
Approximate number of Republicans: 326,292
This is why Republican Spencer Pratt won’t make top two.

Think about all the column inches and headlines devoted to Graham Platner over the past week versus Ken Paxton and then tell me again we have a ‘liberal’ media.
It takes CA days to count all of its votes.
Trump claims it’s because “They’re rigging the election!”
In reality, CA has the largest number of registered voters, and takes great care that every vote is properly counted.
As always, Trump is lying to you.

California has spoken. Thank you for standing with us. To every volunteer who made a call, sent a text, knocked a door, or showed up when it mattered most — this victory belongs to you.
We're just getting started. On to November.
I’m not saying Graham Platner should or shouldn’t be a candidate for a Senate seat, but I am saying that the media’s treatment of Platner as compared to its treatment of Ken Paxton is the same as the media’s treatment of Joe Biden as compared to its treatment of Donald Trump. The media bolsters the MAGA narrative that there’s never a decent Democrat nor an indecent MAGA Republican.
I’ve been to the sprawling tundra of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, where I fished Arctic grayling and Dolly Varden in glacial rivers and saw majestic musk ox traversing the terrain. Today’s oil & gas lease sale in the Arctic Refuge is yet another sell-off of our remarkable public lands. It’s our duty to protect life and the sacred land that sustains it.
The Trump administration has stripped protections for the endangered dunes sagebrush lizard, allowing oil and gas drilling in the species' natural habitat.
Things most Americans agree on:
Groceries cost too much.
Tariffs suck and make no sense.
Congress and Presidents shouldn’t trade stocks.
The debt is a mess.
The border should be secure, but legal immigration is good.
Endless wars are stupid, especially ones that nobody wants and have never been explained.
Americans are exhausted.
AI is like my new best friend that also might be trying to take my job, my ability to think for myself, and my humanity in the process. Yo like I love you, but WTF, but I still love you.
Diversity is actually awesome! The opposite is boring AF.
Canadians are super fucking cool.
Mexicans are chill.
Putin isn’t a good guy looking out for America’s best interest. Rocky IV and Miracle are great movies.
Good neighbors are a blessing.
Freedom of religion and coexistence without having to blow each other up is probably a good idea.
We all question, are we alone in the universe?
We all fuck up along the way.
Epstein didn’t hang himself.
The Trumps and Epstein were best friends for decades. It’s like Bert trying to tell us Ernie was just an acquaintance in the same social scene on Sesame Street back in the day.
The Cowboys suck. Go Birds!
Things we’re told to fight about:
Me.
Laptop.
Vaccines.
Transgenders in sports.
Pronouns.
That’s the joke.
While you were asleep, Senate Republicans voted to give ICE another $70 BILLION—on top of the $170 BILLION they already approved in their Big Ugly Bill.
That's nearly a quarter-TRILLION (yes with a T) dollars to expand Trump's deportation machine with ZERO accountability.
The House must say NO.
All the people outside of California who know nothing about our elections, keep making conspiracy claims. We will laugh and enjoy the sunshine, the beaches and the Dodgers. This is how real democracy works.
BREAKING: More than half of the publicly identified donors to President Trump’s White House ballroom project have won new or expanded federal contracts worth more than $50 billion, per WaPo
If you don’t live in CA I genuinely don’t care what you think about how long it takes to count our ballots. We’re incredibly proud of the voter enfranchisement in recent years, and I’m not worried about waiting a little while for accurate results that count everyone
Huge amount of mail ballots returned on Election Day.
Millions.
Election workers can't tabulate those immediately.
They must first scan the ballot envelope to make sure the voter hasn't already voter in person.
Then they have to assess the signature on the ballot envelope to make sure consistent with the voter's past signatures (to confirm identity).
Then they have to remove ballot from envelope, make sure it's not torn or otherwise damaged, and then flatten it.
Then they can tabulate it.
Then they have to adjudicate any stray pen marks, overvotes, or write-ins.
They they can report results.
And they have to document all of this.
Hope this helps!
Thx!
