“As believers in Christ, we are incomplete without the rest of his body— the church. And the church is incomplete without us. We need others, and others need us”
Sometimes, the best thing you can do is let go and move on. It’s not often easy. You may always feel a slight ache because no one will ever quite fill that same spot in exactly the same way. Don’t be hard on yourself. It wasn’t all a waste of time. Thank God for that season.
"Will you suffer with us?”
I cannot stop thinking about the question @DrAnitaPhillips asked me at the end of this clip. That invitation has changed me. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to listen to the full conversation from last week. It is on my Instagram & Facebook.
When David was overwhelmed, he cried out to God to lead him to the rock that was higher (Psalm 61:2). So many of us are struggling right now with feelings of anxiety and fear, also crying out to God to lead us to the rock that is higher.
This is David McAtee.
He was the owner YaYa’s BBQ in Louisville, Kentucky. A pillar of his community, he gave free food to people in need
He even gave free food to the police who in return shot and killed him last night. Left his body on the street for 12 hrs.
SAY HIS NAME!💔
