been thinking about this a lot lately bros

everyone keeps talking about better models, more compute, bigger context windows

but none of that matters if the incentives are broken

ai is hungry for data

the problem is that the people creating the most valuable data on earth are getting almost nothing back

every opinion, every idea, every niche expertise, every piece of creativity, every conversation

that's the fuel

and somehow we've normalized a world where the fuel providers don't participate in the upside

feels unsustainable tbh

i keep coming back to the idea that IP might become one of the most important primitives of the AI era

because the future isn't ai replacing humans

it's ai competing for human intelligence

the rarest asset on earth won't be compute

it'll be authentic human knowledge

real experiences

real expertise

real creativity

real culture

the stuff models can't generate without first learning it from someone

the projects that figure out how to connect human contribution with ownership are playing a completely different game than everyone else

they're not building another ai product

they're building an economy around intelligence itself

and that's where things get interesting

because once people can actually own, track and monetize what they contribute

you create a flywheel that's almost impossible to stop

better contributors → better data → better ai → more value → more contributors

feels like we're still incredibly early to this narrative

most people are focused on the intelligence layer

i'm way more interested in the ownership layer

that's where the real unlock might be
