HISTORIC FACT #3 IRON BRIDGE
The Credit River Bridge (The Iron Bridge) was described by engineer F. Cumberland as the most important structure on line. It was build by Irish immigrants in 1854 & constant of 8 spans of 96 feet each,giving the bridge full length of 921 feet.

HISTORIC FACT#1 The Grand Trunk Station was designed by Francis Thompson & constructed by Casimir Gzowski.The station became busy after 1888,when North&Northwestern was acquired by Grand Trunk & its mainline in Georgetown was rerouted so all trains would pass through the station
