Moment a woman of God spotted a mentally unstable man in Oyo State yesterday and began praying for him before cutting his hair and buying clothes for him after his deliverance.
The harvest in the villages is plenteousโฆ..
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." โ John 4:35
Beloved brethren,
Rural outreach is not a mere option for the Church; it is a divine mandate. The Lord Jesus commanded us, saying, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). He did not send us only to the paved roads and prosperous cities, but into the highways, the hedges, and the distant wilderness, that His house may be filled (Luke 14:23).
How shall those in forgotten villages call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? (Romans 10:14). While the cities overflow with preachings, countless souls in the countryside perish for lack of knowledge, bound by darkness, poverty, and isolation.
To neglect the rural mission field is to leave the scattered sheep without a shepherd. We must go where the need is greatest, bringing light to those who sit in darkness and demonstrating the compassion of Christ to the poor and forgotten.
The harvest in the villages is plenteous, but the laborers are fewโwe must press into the fields without delay!
