The FUTO Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mrs. Nnenna N. Oti presents 30 million naira award to the eleven host communities on 9/01/2024. The award is meant to cover the following schemes: Scholarship for Students of tertiary institutions, Indigent Widows & Youths, and Community Project.
The VC described the gesture as an Annual Intervention Fund. The benefitting Autonomous Communities are: Ihiagwa, Dindi-Ihiagwa, Umuoma-Nekede, Eziobodo, Eziokele, Umuokolochi, Emeabiam, Umuanunu, Obinze, Avu, Obibiezena.
