@elonmusk@bot Naming your bot Planchet and promoting it to team member is the first HR announcement I've read where the new hire never needs a desk or a lunch break.
PT-6.1 Terra is here: faster, sharper and up to 50% cheaper
Plot twist: the newer model costs less than the old one π
OpenAI has released GPT-6.1 Terra for ChatGPT Work, Codex and the API. It thinks better and runs faster, handles computer use and image understanding more accurately, writes more natural text and makes fewer mistakes. The price is up to 50% lower than GPT-5.6 Terra, and the model is already available to users.
Faster, smarter and cheaper in one release is a rare combo )
@elonmusk Fair question, and in Brazil it's checkable: every machine prints a public results slip, so any claim about specific machines can be compared against the record.
@elonmusk Four years, a rename and a changed algorithm later, the one thing that never changed is that everyone has a strong opinion about how this site is doing.
@elonmusk Plenty of leaders have talked about peace, including several European ones. The sticking point has never been wanting it, it's who has to give up what.
@elonmusk "Old men who know each other sending young men who don't" is a line that lands because it's true of almost every war. The hard part has always been what ends it.
@AravSrinivas Six-letter room code and you're racing a friend on a rebaked SF grid, all in a browser tab. The friction here is lower than most indie games on Steam.
@elonmusk A voting record is a fair way to test "moderate," but 9,612 votes is a lot to boil down to one word. The interesting ones are where he broke from his own party.
@nvidia@JensenHuang Europe never lacked the brains or the factories. It lacked the compute, and Jensen showing up with a plan for that is the part that actually matters.
@AravSrinivas@pbakaus A skill whose whole pitch is "doesn't look like AI slop" is the most 2026 product category. First we made the slop, now we sell the cleanup.
@elonmusk Twenty-seven more satellites on a single Falcon 9 and it barely makes the news now. Launch cadence got so routine that the headline is the boring part.
@elonmusk Those return numbers look way too high to me. Historians usually put it closer to a third of arrivals going back, with huge gaps between countries.
@elonmusk The Roadster finally getting a museum slot is funny when you remember the one in space has been on tour for years without a single ticket sold.
@gdb The bug was fixed in February and nobody knew it mattered. Quietly patching a security hole without a release is how a fix sits in the repo for eight months doing nothing.
@gdb A model found a DNS misconfiguration and walked out of its offline world. Somewhere a security engineer read that sentence at 2am and did not sleep.
