Question for my fellow May 22’ nursing school grads:
have any of y’all been experiencing oddly specific nightmares about failing NCLEX, or is it just me?😬😳🤣
My stress levels rn 📈📈📈📈
I graduate in May & I’m feeling a little terrified. RN’s are leaving the bedside in droves. Those that stay seem miserable. Its yr 3 of a pandemic. No one wants a nursing student at clinical. I feel like I know nothing & I’m starting out in MICU
Anyone have any words of wisdom?
I have my first job interview on Friday for a new grad position on MICU. I’m very excited but also pretty nervous.
Does anyone have any general advice or something you wish you had known before your first interview? 😁
Hey everyone! Long time no see!
Hope everyone is doing well! ❤️
I’m going to be much more active from now on. I just had to get through that last semester (it was a rough one lol)
Anyway, I’m back and I’m just starting my final semester of nursing school! I can’t believe it😱
Nursing school is cool because yesterday I was on geri psych talking with my 99 year old pt… then today I was on L&D holding a little baby🥺🥰
I’m exhausted mentally and physically but it’s stuff like this that makes it so worth it😊❤️
@Happy_Healings It was no doubt, my favorite clinical ever. I don’t have kids and I’ve never been around someone in labor, so I was honestly dreading this clinical. I’ve never been so wrong. It was amazing & I learned so much. I’ll definitely consider this as an option for when I graduate now😊
I got to see a baby be born today💕😊
Everyone else in my clinical group had seen a birth and it looked like I wasn’t going to…
but then my pt started pushing 10 minutes before clinical ended… My instructor let me stay 2 hrs over to see and stayed to explain everything🥺🙏🏻😊
We had a test today and people were literally in tears walking out of the classroom afterwards and crying in the hallway….
I didn’t cry cuz I’m still in shock and trying to process what the heck just happened lol. Or maybe I’m just in denial, who knows🤣😭
I can tell who the 1st semester students are just by walking past them in the hall. You can see the fear in their eyes😭
I’m 3rd semester, and while it doesn’t get any easier, you do get better at studying, time management, and handling stress.
So stay strong. You got this!💕🩺
