So, he was essentially charged for failing to destroy said stuff/ turn in to the police. TL:DR Ex post facto law.

Amino Apps is now officially offline on December 11, 2025?:

If both the website and the app show the same error (“server not found/no connection/nothing loads”), the situation is quite clear! The Amino servers are offline.

Without servers, there is no functioning app regardless of whether it’s installed or not.

What this means technically:
•The app tries to connect to the Amino servers.
• The servers do not respond → the app cannot access any content, communities, logins, nothing.
• This is exactly the behavior of a platform that has been shut down or is no longer maintained.

Combined with:
• Removed from Google Play
• Removed from the App Store
• Official website unreachable
• No public communication for a long time
the most sober and logical conclusion is:

#Amino has been quietly shut down or is at least “practically dead.” Without servers, the platform effectively no longer exists for its users.

If a company neglects its community for years, it essentially means it has given up on it. So it’s no surprise things ended up this way - no real effort was made to prevent it. The app therefore has little to no realistic future. Unless they create something entirely new.
