90% of the time as a new trader I chose option B.

I would hold onto the loser in hope it came back to my profit which it rarely did.

But when it did I felt like I beat the market.

In reality trading has nothing to do with your IQ after a certain point.

Trading is based on your EQ levels, emotional intelligence.

This is absolutely correct - this means there are certain markets in #futures you might not be able to trade as even the smallest tick could be $10 or 15 dollars per tick. Small accounts cannot handle even a few ticks so be sure to trade the correct size instrument.

If your stop losses are too tight, your trade won't have enough room to grow and will get stoped out too soon.

At that point, it means you're “overbetting”.

It is better to reduce the size of your bet and increase your SL levels so your trade have a room to evolve and grow.

I would add - you have to plan and fully expect that the trade will move against you and know where your exit is. It is far better to jump back in a second time then ride it down to a painful amount. #TradingTips
