Hello everybody! I’ve decided to make this account to share my trading, network and hopefully help other traders.
My posts will be mainly the following:
- My price levels for the day on ES (and maybe NQ) each morning.
- A review of my trading and the day’s opportunities at the end of each session.
- Occasional tips, advice and anecdotes about different aspects of trading such as risk management, psychology and discipline.
My trading is heavily influenced by @austinsilverfx VWAP setups, while also incorporating my price levels and other proprietary aspects.
Apologies for not posting my daily levels today, had a bit of an emergency this morning so no trading at all for me today, have a good weekend folks and let's smash it next week!
Today's levels on ES.
I have changed things up slightly, drawing the levels as zones rather than single price levels, because that's what they are, there is no single magical price that we are likely to react to, drawing the levels as zones is more accurate.
One win and done earlier today.
Recovered about half of the loss from yesterday.
I think lessons can be learned here about being very aggressive in your profit-taking when price is massively over-extended.
Let's finish the week green now tomorrow👊
@mauzpad Yeah today was a tough day, price is still respecting structure but there’s nothing that you can do about Trump’s breaking news, the priority is to not let it put you on tilt where you’ll do more damage.
One trade taken today, a losing trade.
This was an A+ setup, coming off a good HTF level with trend all in agreement.
Stopped out by the Trump news candle, this is just the cost of doing business trading through the Trump era unfortunately.
Today's levels on ES.
Some volatility coming into the market this morning with the CPI news, but the relevant price levels are mostly unchanged from yesterday.
Please don't anticipate price to break through these levels, and set your S/Ls and T/Ps accordingly.
Trade well guys.
Observe how perfectly price has tapped the 7748 level that was called out this morning pre-market, if you're not utilising levels like this in your trading then you are missing out on a lot of valuable information.
No trades for me today.
A valid double-break setup presents but it was going long straight into the 7783 level - this is a terrible probability trade, price is much more likely to reject a level than it is to break through it.
I called out all of these levels pre-market.
Today's levels on ES.
Most levels are similar to yesterday, and some are completely unchanged.
The market is still quite range-bound on the shorter timeframes despite the parabolic up-move the past few weeks, so trading level-to-level is especially important.
@adamqtrades Thanks Adam, it’s a 100k ignite instant funded from TopOneFutures, so 5k first profit target, once I hit first payout with this I’ll start stacking on some more with Lucid/Tradeify etc.
Prop Account Progress Update:
Throughout my years of trading, I have always traded personal capital, however a couple of weeks ago I posted here that I had purchased a 100k instant funded prop account to give it a go.
Here is my current progress, all of the trades that I have taken on the account, about 50% of the way to first payout.
The one losing trade was an invalid setup, taken in an airport lobby while waiting for a flight - a great lesson on only trading when you're in your stable usual environment on your desk.
I aim to hit the 5% profit target to take a first payout on this in the next week or two. I am also still trading my personal capital of course (which will always be my priority), but copy trading to some prop firms definitely seems like a great way to generate some extra P&L.
