@mattjay I still don't understand why people started using their real names on the internet, especially if they care about privacy.
It's not like the "cloud" and centralization removed all the problems.
@shenetworks if it ever gets compromised it'll make it much easier to correlate with other leaks involving SSN's since they'll be indexed. It's always a balance between security and performance.
@dhh Debating Rust vs. Rails is a legacy mindset. AI typing old languages faster isn't the endgame.
The future belongs to AI-native paradigms that bridge human intent and machine execution to combine cognitive clarity, mathematically provable security, and minimal runtime overhead.
@Jhaddix hmm, interesting response. What's was the average payout at Bugcrowd when you were there? What's the total time time/effort to find a bug? How does that compare to minimum wage? How many orgs use these programs to supplement workers for compliance purposes? Are you biased?
@Jhaddix Bug Bounty programs are a detriment to the security industry. Instead of companies employing these people in a high paying positions, the role has been shifted to gig work. Dropping 0-days or no disclosure as the default would re-balance the leverage back to workers.
@RSnake Just because there's exploit code doesn't mean that the software is widely installed (or exposed to attackers).
Looking at these data points in isolation paints a distorted view of reality and assumes full perspective on what's actually being exploited.
@OilViper@SecondSonsCA Huh, what's your problem? You're the one that referred to them as 6'5" Chad's, who talks about other guys like that? I just see a few MCpl washouts and LARPers that like to run around pretending like they're doing some sort of serious training.
@OilViper@SecondSonsCA There's a couple of lanky dudes in their photos, lots of little big men it seems. But if in your mind they're big strapping men that can protect you, and that's your thing, then you do you.
@OilViper@SecondSonsCA I've seen plenty of white people litter as well, is that where your beliefs originate from, aversion to littering?
"uh but it's just right wing thinking", like social order and respect for authority? So Japanese and Chinese immigrants are ok with you?
@OilViper@SecondSonsCA I called them teenage girls and you defaulted to it being a sexual comment, so I called you a incel, because that's how incel's think.
You're not second sons? why do you idolize them and refer to them as 6"5' chads if all you share is an ideology.
@OilViper@SecondSonsCA not really, I'm just trying to understand the thinking behind people who see themselves as 6'5" chads that act tough but who are also afraid of brown people.
@SecondSonsCA What if I'm not gay? I have no problems with it, to each their own, I just don't want to participate in the circle jerk bukkake stuff you guys do, can i still join your little men's club?
@OilViper@SecondSonsCA ya, that's what I thought. "I have no ideology" then proceeds to spew white nationalist chud nonsense.
Anyways, you and your military washout homies look like a bunch of idiots with you stupid little uniforms larping around like tough guys.
@OilViper@SecondSonsCA What about highly educated Asians (india/china) that bring capital, create jobs and pay taxes, or are highly credentialed and create IP and technology. Or is it only whites of European decent that are allowed to live here?
@ChrisWillx Swapping love for hate flips the mirror. We demand the world judge only our actions, yet we condemn our own identity when we fail, abandoning our authenticity.
"It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not."

@OrdinaryGamers That would suck. I'd probably get denied given my extensive history of felonious behaviour and being institutionalized for setting my college roommate on fire.
