SECURITY ANNOUNCEMENT! All versions of Singularity and SUID-enabled Apptainer (< 1.1.8) increase the severity of issues like CVE-2022-1184 (which will NOT be fixed upstream by RHEL7 and compats).

This is why Apptainer no longer runs as SUID by default.
