@cemmonsmac1 @logicman1979 @matuzalem @emdehaney Yes there are certain illnesses that are more genetics or other conditions just like breast cancer or type 1 diabetes...your point?
@logicman1979 @matuzalem @cemmonsmac1 @emdehaney Are physical health and physical illness not the same? Not taking care of your physical health leads to physical illness, just like mental health
@MG8719 @eboyjenkins @TwittahBobby@unzippedfiles completely unnecessary. We get it straight people exist. Itβs ok to be straight. But we donβt need the shit in every tv show movie and kids program. Being straight is promoted to a sick degree, if u want to be normal, shut up about it
@adammarkowitzEA@SylvainTaif@katieporteroc How did you pay less? MFS provides fewer tax benefits so you would only pay less individually if your partner owes more (which overall would not save you two more money)
The IRS lacks the resources it needs to crack down on corporations cheating our tax code, which leads to a $1 TRILLION gap between what's owed and paid. It's past time corporations pay their fair share. Today, I urged leadership to beef up the IRS's ability to go after cheaters.
@BeeBeeJack1@Booker4KY Do you have insurance for anything? Thatβs literally how it works. A program like this would help so many Americans. Take for example firefighters: is it fair for people to pay taxes for firefighters if their home has never caught on fire?
@RunawayMeerkat @RealTimFarnan @danieljevon I see value in voting democrat or republican unless we are able to change the system into something like ranked choice voting. Unfortunately with the way our system is now 3rd party doesnβt stand a chance
@VACAVILLEHITTA@levarthestar I wish community colleges in my area would be more supportive. Around me, if you are falling behind because of financial reasons and are unable to pay your tuition and donβt qualify for aid schools drop you real quick
@VACAVILLEHITTA@levarthestar Also a BA no longer has the value it used to. Nowadays itβs the bare minimum for a lot of jobs even if someone without a college degree would be better qualified for a job
@VACAVILLEHITTA@levarthestar My original point is that they are at a disadvantage. Academically yes state schools arenβt much different but there a lot more networking and opening doors at competitive schools, thatβs why people fight so hard and pay more
@VACAVILLEHITTA@levarthestar Also a higher high school gpa usually qualifies you for more scholarships/grants. If you canβt keep up your gpa because youβve had to work how is being eligible for less aid going to help you?
