@ThatLukasGuy@ItsGunpoint@PicturesFoIder Excellent argument. That should help this idiot Gunpoint guy realise his error. But will he have the humility to admit his mistake… I doubt it. His problem is not merely a small intellect, but small-mindedness, which is far more difficult to overcome.
@boostYourSkill@PicturesFoIder Why is there such a huge gap below the door? This seems typical of public toilets in the USA. What is it that is being prioritised over privacy and security? It’s not cost or ease of installation - the gains are negligible. What am I missing please. Genuine question.
@GNQ__ @kelly_cadigan What is Kelly if not an “actual transsexual”? Toilets are not policed - no certificate or official document is required to use any toilet. There is a reasonable expectation that men will not use women’s toilets, but men that appear similar to Kelly will not be noticed.
@BhawinJagad@RealEmirHan This is probably my favourite film of all time. It’s full of quotable lines, the music is uplifting. I know it’s an overused adjective, but I think this is wholesome in a way that is sadly lacking in much of today’s storytelling.
@NinaHeistad@Kathleen101001@moira_robin@MForstater@thetimes I couldn’t agree more emphatically! What r the consequences of denying the reality of childhood, or indeed womanhood? Why, the dismantling of protections specifically designed for children and women. The wolves are not at the door; they’re inside the sheepfold, clothed in fleece.
@mikesharpe69@OliviaUtley 36 pence underpayment - I am astonished that such a small amount could result in a £90 fine. Surely there were opportunities to prevent this paltry sum ballooning. Was she given any chance to sort it out or do they just hit you with a letter demanding payment?
@GuyLambertUK@JamesEsses@salltweets No. Gender identity is a threat to all people because it erodes boundaries, rights, dignity, health, truth. Trans people are threatened and harmed by its extremes, as are all members of society. And due legal process is not gentleness - it’s the law.
@jbird_ace @realMarkHolden@kimsch @mauflo98 @PicturesFoIder Yes u are correct in that he added an extra division symbol and in so doing muddied his argument. answer is 16 only if you consider 2(a + b) to have EXACTLY the same meaning as 2 x (a + b)
If the 2 is an expression in its own right it can be detached from (a+b) and result is 16
@realMarkHolden@kimsch @mauflo98 @PicturesFoIder This step is flawed:
From 8/2(4)
To 4/(4)
U divided the 8 by the 2 to get 4.
next line WOULD read:
4(4) ie 4 x 4 = 16
That is the wrong result overall cos the 2 should not be detached from the expression in brackets ie it is incorrect to divide the 8 by 2 in isolation.
8/2(4)=1
@ProfessorZkm@TansuYegen I don’t know much about chatgpt but if it wrote that pile of steaming horse dung, I won’t be using it to do any writing. The logic is flawed from the very first premise, and the imprecision in the language is excruciating. I can’t believe I read the entire text. More fool me!
