@PaulTassi Besides the disk drive stuff with the 1000 dollar price tag I think next gen is doa, thats expensive enough that I dont think "its more powerful" is going to be a good enough selling point to convince the average person to upgrade, also imagine the scalpers prices were gonna see

@JezCorden @SpeedGod_CDN Asha doesnt seem stupid so I could imagine they are seeing the amount of vitriol being thrown at sony and reconsidering some stuff for next gen, its still xbox though so I wouldnt be surprised if they follow suit since we all know they planned for no disc drive for next gen

@JuiceHead33 If obsidian doesnt get hugely impacted by the cuts then id bet that they are getting put on a fallout project or something adjacent rpg ip wise in the future, xbox has little reason to keep obsidian around otherwise as they haven't been making the mega hits xbox wants now

@JackSam30767610 @ianzelbo However if your still on windows 10 from what ive seen its true that you dont need more than 16gb for normal stuff, my 16gb ram laptop has no problems with memory and its still on windows 10

@JackSam30767610 @ianzelbo Id say on windows 11 24 gb is safe while 16 is a bit iffy, I squeek over 16gbs pretty regularly and end up with 17 or 18gbs of usage and i close most things when I play a game or do something else thats intensive to save on resources

@aerospace98351 @Lunnzies @videotech The ps5 pro gpu is a step up from the ps5/xsx so I would expect it to have some sort of an advantage in that aspect, I do worry about the cpu in all the consoles holding it back, I will say though rdr2 is shockingly well cpu optimized so its possible they pulled something off...
