@g7soz @m1kta_qrp @g3zay @g3pye @m1acb Except it went Pffftzzzzz during the testing. 5wxvia a 6dB attenuator, gave 7-800w on 160, 80, and 40. Above that it was 100w then the magic blue smoke escaped. Oh well a job for another day.

At least the Magic Blue Smoke did not escape on the first application of power. That's a good sign! Still got a lot more to do, but it's a good start.

Nice relaxing day in the shed... Brewing beer! 60L of a SMASH (single malt, single hops) beer using Simpsons Golden Promise malt and Strata Hops. Should be a nice light summery beer. Just need some summer to go with it!

@g4cch Indeed it is. 53v @ 37Amps. Powering a MRFX1K80NR5. Am not going for max power,but nil stock of the 1k5, and only £9 dearer. So all will be under run for better longevity.

Another job done. My 55V 2Kw power supply for my HF Amp. Normally they are rack mounted, but a few hours of 3D printing has changed that!

@TheRealMike I did that on my 28v psu. But at 40 Amps, I thought two outlets in parallel were needed. So 6 would take up a fair bit of room, reducing the airflow exit. I'll see how it goes. I used a different colour scheme on the powerpoles as well.
