Tried out @flaunchgg by launching a symbolic coin of my dog. Very smooth experience, it's even prioritizing retard power by defaulting to @solana-based wallets when connecting, even though it's an EVM chain. Very faithful to original audience. I imagine the bridging friction is what's holding it back in terms of pumpfun-type success, and I think that's something the Eth space will struggle with forever - or at least unti Agglayer has funded a wallet that abstracts it all away and finally gets us rid of per-chain gas and other UX antipatterns. But tbh I also expect Solana to run into the same roadbumps once they add L2s. All in all it's an interesting experiment and fun exercise in UX, but it's not what web3 should be about. I really wish these UX wizards directed their power towards something net good and positive for the ecosystem. Somehow I feel like getting a bunch of people onboarded to get rugged by a dozen meme-makers launching 100 coins per minute isn't the onboarding utopia we'll benefit from.
