Get in rooms where they talk about ideas, growth, dreams and goals… Not people.

I sometimes catch myself with these reminders.

Ambition becomes dangerous when you keep moving the finish line without acknowledging how far you’ve already traveled.

Indecision has a price tag. We just rarely calculate it.

@unusual_whales I believe this holds true for almost every earner under $1M a year. As income “increases” so does the lifestyle.

living paycheck to paycheck doesn’t necessarily mean their not living their best life at that level.

Just saw a video of a very old man say

“Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a mystery, Today is a gift”

Understand how the buyer mindset works.

Behavioral research has repeatedly found that people disproportionately stick with whatever option is presented as the default.

That’s worth remembering whenever someone says: “We’re happy with what we have.”

Happy and unwilling to change aren’t always the same thing. Sometimes inertia wins without ever making an argument.

Psychologist Bluma Zeigarnik discovered that unfinished tasks can remain unusually active in our minds.

Sometimes the fastest way to quiet your mind isn’t finishing everything. It’s deciding exactly when you’ll finish it.

Every time you take credit that belongs to your team, you make a withdrawal.

Every time you give away credit you could have taken, you make a deposit.

Eventually people figure out which kind of leader they’re working for.

Important lesson of the day:

Expertise creates value only when the client can understand it. Speak plainly and be honest about what you know.
