On Fri. 19th June we'll be returning to St Georges, Beckenham. We last played there in 2023, and it's a lovely setting for a G2 show!

We're currently discussing what to play there (bearing in mind the reverb!), so if you have any requests now is the time to get them in...

The @StablesMK - Standing tickets are now on sale!

With very few seats left, the venue have released balcony standing tickets, at £25 (inc. fees). Max. 30 available per show, so get 'em while they're hot!

Hope to see you at a show soon!

@Catapultpublicr I decided not to use #Freeola email after the last time this happened. Our website has been unavailable for more than a day now. No message and no mention of it on their FB page. Their communication sucks!

Here's G2's end of season mailshot update, with details of all our 2026 shows now on sale (including The Stables!):

@Tesco I've tried clicking the 'Send us a private message' button, and nothing happens. Don't know what's going wrong, so will try again later...

Regardless, as this is something other people will probably want to know, isn't it better for you to reply publicly anyway?

[Piers de Lavison @G2Genesis]

@Tesco, the recycling info on your finest crisps is doesn't match.

3 bags that look like they'd be the same. 2 say 'Don't Recycle', 1 says 'Recycle At Large Supermarket'.

Are they really different, or did you just fail to update some of the bag info?

If so, which is correct?

[Piers de Lavison @G2Genesis]

@gloucesterglass @spizeechh @primarily_prog Well, thank you for the kind words!

We do our best! :-)

[Piers de Lavison @G2Genesis]

@Stujay4 Well, he'll be delighted to hear you say that! :-)

If you're in the West Midlands the nearest show we have left this year would be at The Swan in Worcester on 7/11. After that it'll be a case of waiting until Bromsgrove next July!

@Stujay4 It's unlikely we'll go back there. I posted about The Robin in our January 2023 mailshot:

After the long summer break G2 will be returning on 24-26 October for two shows @TavistockWharf and then one at Komedia Bath.

It's the last chance to catch our 1978 'And Then There Were Three' tour show in Tavistock!

Our website provider has server issues, so it's currently offline (just when I was going to do an update!).

In the mean time, here's the run down of G2's confirmed shows in 2025/26 so far.

As always, '(TBC)' means that a show is just not on sale yet, rather than unconfirmed.

[Piers de Lavison @G2Genesis]

@Freeola @FelthamFC OK. Any idea of timescale yet? I've got a mailshot poised to go, with links to our offline web site...

If the issue isn't going to be fixed very soon, can I suggest you post about it directly on your feed here, instead of just in a reply where people might not find it easily.
