If LeBron’s incomprehensible 10+ point, 17 year, 1,297 game streak were ever going to end, that was simply the greatest way imaginable:
Sitting on 8 points, tie game, ball in hands, chance to keep streak alive with a make or get to OT with a miss, he… made the right play.
Assisted for the open 3. Ball game. Lakers win.
Just perfect. And we’ll never see anything like that streak again.

Have to celebrate July 4th 🇺🇸 with the greatest swim in Olympics history: Jason Lezak’s comeback against France to help win Michael Phelps another Gold at Beijing 2008.
Jalen Milroe owes Shedeur Sanders a bottle of something, cuz I'm not sure I've heard Milroe's name mentioned once as sliding down the board, and he was in the green room last night.
This is one of those moments I’ll never forget being there live. Alabama fans watching their Heisman-favorite QB go down w/an injury against a top-4 team in a 7-pt, fourth quarter deficit. A team the backup had struggled mightily against less than 12 months prior. And yet, Bama fans went wild when Jalen came in. Idk why, but I honestly believed Bama was going to win in this moment. Just something about it stood out. Every reason for fans to be concerned and yet, they didn’t show it in this moment. Don’t ever tell me Bama nation didn’t support Jalen Hurts. It’s simply not true.
Seven years ago today, @AlabamaMBB participated in one of the most bizarre endings when the Crimson Tide fell 89-84 to Minnesota in the Barclays Classic championship game from Brooklyn, N.Y.
A matchup between two ranked teams transformed into a surreal three-on-five finish that witnessed Collin Sexton, Riley Norris and Galin Smith rally the Crimson Tide to within one possession before finally succumbing to the mismatch.
With 13:34 remaining in the second half, a scuffle under the basket ended with the entire Alabama bench being ejected for running onto the court. The mass exodus left the Crimson Tide with just Sexton, Norris, Smith, Dazon Ingram and John Petty.
Ingram picked up his fifth foul at the 11:37 mark leaving Alabama with just four players and Petty left the game with an injury seconds later creating the three-on-five imbalance.
Sexton, Norris and Smith played without help the remaining 10 minutes and 41 seconds. Instead of the Gophers racing to an easy victory, a 40-point performance from Sexton rallied the trio and at one point a layup by Sexton cut the deficit to one possession, 83-80, with 1:39 remaining.
In another strange confluence of events, the game tipped off during the second half of the Iron Bowl through Stadium TV and many had to stream the game on a secondary device.
