⚠️ Police Scotland is dealing with an average of 200 cases of violence against women and girls every day, according to the force's Chief Constable.

A new report shows rape offences have continued to rise, with almost 300 more cases recorded over the last year. It comes as 10 offenders have been sentenced in the past two months to prison terms totalling more than 100 years.

Police say tackling violence against women and girls requires both stronger prevention and bringing offenders to justice.

After a hiatus it would seem the drug dealers and drug addicts terrorising the residents of Bowman Street, Govanhill have returned and are there day and night. 99 Bowman street seems to be their new choice and the residents are in constant fear, day and night. @GlasgowSEPolice
