2establish amodern stte on values of democratic principles, one committed to upholding ruleof law, freedom justice unity&implements agenuine devolution of power
What so called election that have taken place in Ethiopia is a drama that has been seen before. Abiy is not a person whose mind is calm/stable when you look at his actions
My visit to #Eritrea offered a meaningful moment of reflection on the layers of engagement that shape national progress, from observing developments in strategic towns like #Assab and the historic resilience of Nakfa, to witnessing community realities firsthand. Moving across these spaces underscored how policy, partnership, history, and lived experience intersect in tangible and often humbling ways...Such moments serve as a reminder that progress is not only measured in projects or plans, but in dialogue, perspective, and shared commitment to long-term national vision.
My visit concluded with a thoughtful exchange with H.E. President Isaias Afwerki, a conversation that reinforced the importance of continuity, strategic alignment, and sustained engagement on national priorities. Development and governance are best understood not from distance, but through direct engagement with people and institutions shaping the country’s path forward...
Iran is not Venezuela
The Iranian side announced two things:
1. The Iranian missile attack resulted in the deaths of approximately 200 American soldiers.
2. Iranian missiles destroyed an A/N FPS-132 Block 5 radar system, an advanced phased-array radar system deployed by US forces in Qatar. This radar has a detection range of 5,000 kilometers, and its primary mission is to provide early warning of ballistic missiles to the United States and Israel.
Didn't the kidnapping of Maduro without any casualties give Trump excessive confidence?
Want a real education on Horn of Africa geopolitics?

Long live my comrade.
The visit of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, accompanied by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, to the city of Las Anod today, the first of its kind by a Somali president in 42 years since Siad Barre’s visit, represents, in my view, a strategic and historic turning point.
It is a masterstroke and a resounding slap to the 'Somaliland' secessionist project, as well as a firm response to the recent Israeli recognition that sought to legitimize division.
Las Anod, the historic heart of the Sool region, has chosen Somali unity, rejected secessionist occupation, and expelled the Hargeisa administration after bloody battles, establishing the SSC-Khatumo federal state under Mogadishu’s authority.
This visit serves as a sovereign declaration in bold: that the territorial integrity of Somalia is a red line and is not subject to division.
The arrival of the federal leadership in the heart of Sool province is a de facto field recognition of the victory of the local population's will.
Undoubtedly, this visit is a courageous national step that reflects the unity of Somali lands and the state's commitment to direct communication with its citizens in all regions. Here, the Somali state tells the world that it has returned to its northern lands, and that secession has ended, both politically and practically, upon the rock of Las Anod’s steadfastness.
Excellency Hon. President, Hon Prime Minister, welcome to Lasanod, the northeastern capital, a symbol of unity&a home of honor. For the first time in 40 years, a national President has set foot on this land. This is the land of the Daraawiish&of those who firmly reject secession
#BREAKING: The Arab League has issued a scathing condemnation of Israel’s recognition of Somaliland, calling it a "provocative and unacceptable step." Secretary-General Aboul Gheit slammed the move as a "flagrant infringement' on Somali sovereignty and a violation of inter'l law.
Abiy claims he has been searching for documents on how Eritrea’s referendum was conducted and couldn’t find any. Perhaps someone sensible should hand him the originals—from the only institution that actually matters: the United Nations. The UN’s own historical record contains the correspondence between the #UN, #Eritrea, and #Ethiopia regarding the referendum. But he can keep pretending he’s still ‘looking for documents’…
Proof—if any was still needed—that #Ethiopia is steadily fracturing under the leadership of Abiy Ahmed Ali, who is presiding over the state’s disintegration.
An international journalist is now able to meet an insurgent army fighting the administration of one of #Ethiopia’s ethnic-based regional states, #Tigray. Even more astonishing, these insurgents are funded and equipped by the Federal Government’s own army, which is simultaneously engaged in large-scale wars against two of the country’s largest regions, #Amhara and #Oromia.
Consider this:
Tigray has the TDF defending Tigrayans, while the TPF — backed by PP’s ENDF — attempts to unseat the TPLF, with an additional reserve force waiting across the border in Sudan.
Amhara region is facing an entrenched, multi-front rebellion: Fano in Gonder, Fano in Gojam, and Fano in Wollo, all fighting against the PP-controlled ENDF.
Oromia has the well-experienced OLF successfully waging armed resistance against the PP's federal army.
The ONLF remains restive and watching developments closely.
And on top of all this, the PP government is attempting to open yet another front — a large-scale conflict against #Eritrea — in pursuit of a fantasy about “sovereign” access to the Red Sea coastline.
If this is the leadership Ethiopia has, then the situation is bleak . Hope is fading, and Ethiopia cannot survive in its current form for long under such destructive, chaotic, and self-inflicted quagmire under the delusional fantasist.
It is a time for the United Nations& Western countries, particularly the UK,to reverse the illegal extradition of the Ogaden to Ethio as it is denies our rights, It must relinquish claiming the Ogaden, which was handed over by the British to the Ethiopian Empire in 1897 &1955
Egypt's Message to Landlocked Ethiopia Until Judgment Day:
The Sea Belongs to Its People.. and Geography is a Divine Decree No Human Can Change!
Geography is a divine decree no human can alter, and Ethiopia will remain a landlocked nation until Judgment Day, with no role whatsoever in the Red Sea. This, in brief, is what Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty stated in a televised interview, affirming that governance of the Red Sea is an exclusive matter for the coastal states, stressing that Ethiopia – as a landlocked country – has no right to interfere or participate in its management mechanisms.
Abdelatty also spoke about Egyptian-Saudi consultations on the future framework for Red Sea governance, confirming that Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as two major coastal nations, bear the primary responsibility for managing this vital maritime corridor and ensuring its security and stability.

Whenever an #Ethiopian general/leader drums up war with #Eritrea, the same tired propaganda plays on repeat.
In this clip, veteran military figure Siye Abraha — just three weeks before the recent Tigray war — spouted the same rehearsed bravado Abiy now uses, then fled while young soldiers paid the price and Tigray was left in ruins. It’s a template for Abiy’s playbook. In this clip Siye boasts things like:
“Isaias will die soon.”
“#Eritrea is tiny, full of elderly, lacking productive youth — it’ll collapse if pushed.”
“We know how to build a winning, mechanized army with artillery and all the trimmings.”
Same rhetoric. Same hubris. Same human cost Abiy is willing to sacrifice without blinking....
Only cruel fool who do not know or care about his people talk about war like Abiy does.
One think I am certain is Eritrea will Prevail with Justice and the will power of Eritreans.

In recent times, we have witnessed instances where Oromo leaders have chosen defiance over marginalization of Somalis
and confrontation over cooperation with Ogadens Our oil production can only be achieved through genuine negotiations @AlsisiOfficial@SirakBahlbi@USEmbassyAddis
Leadership is a trust given by the people&with it comes the duty to uphold the respect of peoples rights&serve the public interest as we're Ogaden citizens we frustrated about what's going on there we can't be spectators the plundering of our resources
@AbiyAhmedAli@hawelti
Somali nationalist politician #Zakaria, one of the most prominent figures in protecting Somali interests, met with the Father of Africa H.E P IA in Asmara
They discussed peace&stability in the HA cooperation between the Somali&Eritrean peoples, who're brothers share much in common
Redwan Hussien (@RedwanHussien), now #Ethiopia's National Security Advisor, argued in 2005 that:
1. Only #Eritreans can decide how their ports (Massawa & Assab) are used; any threats won't work.
2. #Ethiopians must look inward, not outward, to solve their problems.
3. Historical blame for the border lies with Emperor Menelik's treaties with Italy, not modern leaders.
4. Ethiopia's economy collapsed while it occupied the ports and has grown rapidly without them.
Empty vessels make the most noise!
PM @AbiyAhmedAli's irresponsible and dangerous rhetoric about gaining sovereign sea access is nothing more than the illusion of a man who believes his own fantasies. It will not happen, neither in his time nor for thousands of years to come.🛑🇪🇹
