Open Letter to Jerry Jones, Owner of the Dallas Cowboys

Mr. Jones,

We’ve reached our breaking point. Year after year, we’ve watched this team stumble and fall under your leadership, and we’ve had enough. If winning championships is no longer your priority, then step down. Sell this team to someone who cares about more than just brand image, someone who will actually deliver the championships that fans have been waiting for while you collect profits from our loyalty.

Let’s talk about Dak Prescott. We get it—he’s a good person, he’s loyal, he works hard. But that doesn’t bring home a Super Bowl. The reality is, he’s not getting the job done on the field. And yet, you keep backing him as if loyalty alone will magically translate into victory. It’s insulting to the fans, honestly, to watch you double down on a quarterback who has consistently failed in critical moments. If you’re as committed to winning as you claim, then make the hard choices instead of hoping loyalty will someday produce results. It won’t.

And all those grand facilities? The stadium? The “world-class” amenities? You must think we should be satisfied with shiny buildings and a strong “brand.” But here’s a reality check: we couldn’t care less about any of it without a winning team on the field. All that glitter is just window dressing when we’re not competing for championships. This is supposed to be “America’s Team,” and right now, we’re just watching you polish a trophy case that hasn’t seen a new Lombardi Trophy in almost three decades.

Then there’s the slap in the face to Cowboys fans everywhere—your recent picture of Dak with our legendary quarterbacks. There’s Aikman, there’s Staubach, and… no Danny White. Really, Mr. Jones? Are we just supposed to ignore the fact that you’ve erased a man who bled for this team, a man who led us to three consecutive NFC Championship Games? Leaving Danny White out is more than an oversight. It’s a stain on the team’s legacy, a legacy you seem to care less and less about with every misguided decision. Fans are furious at the disrespect shown to one of the greats who put this team on his back, yet somehow got pushed aside to make room for an image that flatters no one but you.

And let’s make something crystal clear: while you may technically own this team, it’s our money that funds it. We’re the ones who buy the tickets, the merchandise, and everything else that makes this franchise run. And we will not hesitate to stop supporting this team financially if you keep ignoring what really matters. We’re not here to bankroll your “vision” if that vision isn’t about winning championships. We were here before you, and we’ll be here long after you’re gone. But make no mistake—until you give us a reason to believe this team is on a path to victory, we’re ready to take our support elsewhere.

Here’s what we demand: either show us you’re ready to put together a true championship team or step aside and let someone else take charge who knows what it takes. This isn’t about your wealth, your ego, or your empire. It’s about bringing championships back to Dallas. And if you’re not going to do that, then get out of the way. We’ve waited long enough, and our patience is gone.
