I personally can differentiate all of the forms of each character ssj, the grades, 2 and 3 with ease because of the artstyle and the sublte differences. DB in general is something that is mostly show and sometimes tell it's meant to be given attention -

SSJ is a masterpiece, best written form ever made and the extensions(grades up till 3) serve narrative or symbolic purposes

@GalacticMj This proves nothing. Goku says power isn’t everything. In the next panel Goku pushes himself to his limits to have a slim chance to even damage freeza because he has to do it to at least assure some damage. I don’t get what the point of these are

@GalacticMj This proves nothing Goku says power isn’t everything. In the next panel he encourages gohan to tap into his anger since gohans anger unleashes huge power spikes from himself and has done that in the past to the fighters aid. This proves nothing again
