Unfortunately, but as was to be expected, the current Government still continues to reject the adoption of digital assets, with the response from @EmmaforWycombe offering an incredibly disappointing ‘risk averse’ approach to a Strategic Digital Asset Reserve, rather than looking to the upside opportunities that it offers.

Whilst the rest of the world finally begins to embrace digital assets, with digital assets becoming a strategic tool to hedge against fiat currency risk, inflation and general economic volatility, the UK has the opportunity to foster a pro crypto approach to attract global investment, high-value jobs and digital innovation.

The UK will very much continue to ‘NGMI’ whilst our political elite approach crypto like this.

The fight goes on, please support the petition to have this debated in parliament. We must ‘orange pill’ the nation in order to create positive change.

We often share the FTSE All-Share risers when Smarter Web has had a strong day, but I think today’s intraday volume is perhaps the more interesting view.

Looking across the companies in the index, SWC’s trading volume is fairly striking - particularly for a small Bitcoin treasury company alongside some of the UK’s largest listed businesses.

Of course, every share trades at a different price, so value traded is arguably a better comparison than raw share volume.

Even with that caveat, I think the level of activity in Smarter Web today is interesting to see.

The idea that Russia or any other country is going to attempt to invade and occupy Britain is laughable. We are a nuclear power, Five Eyes member, NATO member, and one of the closest allies of the United States.

The Russians can’t even annex a handful of Ukrainian oblasts without sustaining millions of casualties, let alone take on a NATO nuclear power - a fact Putin himself has recognised publicly.

What Rees-Mogg is really saying is we must die for the Donbas region.

It is offensive folly to ask Britons to die for a region that has zero relevance to us whilst our own country is being handed over to foreigners against our will. If the British establishment tries to conscript us for a war with Russia, they are in for a nasty surprise.
