GAA World Games had their launch in SETU Arena today. Great to see this event supported by so many. With 110 teams and over 2,000 players competing this will be the largest GAA world games to date, and we are hosting. @GAAworldgames

It will be a particularly fulfilling trip for Laura Spangenberg, who made a promise to herself that when she overcame cancer, she would make the trip back #GAABelong

Sables Shamrocks GAA Club, from Kabwe in Zambia, was formed in January, 2026 and are sending a 16-strong squad to the GAA World Games on July 13-17th in Waterford!
